Our Story
My journey in the construction industry began when I was just a kid, working alongside my dad building decks. Those early experiences instilled in me a passion for creating beautiful and functional outdoor spaces. Over the years, I expanded my skills and knowledge, working in both commercial and residential construction. This lifelong dedication to the craft eventually led me to own a successful remodeling company.
Recently, I decided to shift my focus exclusively to exteriors, which led to the founding of Renown Decks and Exteriors. My goal was to create a small, family-owned business that takes immense pride in our work and stands behind every project we undertake. At Renown Decks and Exteriors, we specialize in building high-quality decks, patios, and fences, along with offering services for retaining walls, concrete work, siding, and roofing.
Throughout my career, I have built over 100 decks and fences, in addition to numerous roofs and siding projects. My experience includes working as a Home Repair Project Manager at Habitat for Humanity of Omaha, where I had the privilege of helping low-income families in our community improve their homes and lives. This role allowed me to combine my passion for construction with a commitment to making a positive impact, reinforcing the values that I carry into every project at Renown Decks and Exteriors.
